Introduction		If the eyes are the window to the soul, so dinosaur art is the window to the lost world. My professional life is immeasurably richer because of the activities of dinosaur artists who bring to life a world my eyes are too dim to see. Their skills begin precisely where mine end. It is not my professional activity that has drawn the interest of the public, but rather it is my work made accessible through the gifts of the artist. The partnership between the paleontologist and the artist is of long standing and of great importance.
